Maximum Change University:

Life Coaching Certification Course CE100

A 16 week one-on-one coaching course that prepares the individual with coaching skills. This course includes one-on-one coaching and self-study. Excellent for anyone who wishes to develop a life coaching practice. At the end of the 16 week course, participants will receive a frame worthy certificate. Course includes curriculum and applicable tools that can be used immediately. Some homework is required. Participants can expect 60 minutes of class time (held in person or via Skype) as well as self-study work. Average time required per week is no more than 3 hours. Curriculum is designed to build upon each assignment to ultimately create a structure for a coaching practice. Students will be expected to start practicing coaching within the first module. [Required courses: CE101, CE102, CE103, CE104]

 

Life Coaching Essentials | Module 1

Coaching Essentials is the first course in a series of four 4 week modules on coaching and mentoring. In the first module, attendees will examine and understand the basics of Life Coaching, including: The history of coaching, definition of coaching, the core objectives of coaching, coaching competencies, ethics and standards of coaching, the essential elements of the coaching relationship and much more. Communicating as a Coach | Module 2

Communicating as a Coach is the second course in a series of four 4 week modules on coaching and mentoring. In this course, attendees will examine and understand the mechanics of listening as a Life Coach. Through this examination, you will discover the theory of communication, the art of listening, powerful questions, and much more. Course includes one-on-one with a coach as well as self-study. Coaching sessions are held via telephone and/or skype.  $500 US | PREREQUISITE CE101

 

Feedback and Action | Module 3

Feedback and Action is the third course in a series of four 4 week modules on coaching and mentoring. In this course, attendees will examine proper assessment techniques, the process of change,  powerful questions that influence change, boundaries, tools and techniques for making changes, motivational theories, goal setting and much more. Through this examination, you will discover the theory of communication, the art of listening, powerful questions, and much more. Course includes one-on-one with a coach as well as self-study. The Business of Coaching | Module 4

The Business of Coaching is the fourth and final course in this series of four 4 week modules on coaching and mentoring. In this course, attendees will begin to develop the structure of a coaching practice. Attendees will examine market niche’, ideal clients, developing a business plan, filling your practice, marketing, websites, newsletters and more. Course includes one-on-one with a coach as well as self-study. Coaching sessions are held via telephone and/or skype.  $500 US | PREREQUISITE CE103

Leader as Coach Certification Course LC100

A 16 week one-on-one coaching course which includes practical leadership and coaching skills. This course includes some discussion of organization and leadership theory. Excellent for managers, executives, business owners, organizational leaders or anyone who wants to develop their coaching skills as a leader. At the end of the 16 week course, participants will receive a frame worthy certificate. Course includes curriculum and applicable tools that can be used immediately. Some homework is required. Participants can expect 60 minutes of class time (held in person or via Skype) as well as self-study work. Average time required per week is no more than 3 hours.
